Tech wouldn’t fix or diagnose an issue on our furnace. Signed a waiver dismissing any liability but they refused to do anything to the unit. Said they would only put in a brand new $5000 unit. Basically stole my $100 and have nothing to show for it. Unit was running fine last year with no issues. Have a technician lie and then give a different story when called out is not giving a homeowner options. That’s predatory behavior. And honestly the sign of a failing or struggling business. Which makes sense being quoted $5,000 for a $3,000 job. Complete scumbags.
10/28/2025– I reviewed before and can’t find a place to leave a new review, but as before I am completely satisfied with the service I received from Levi at Hometown Heroes. I had my furnace check up and he thoroughly checked everything and I feel very comfortable with running my furnace this winter. My furnace stopped working at midnight on New Year’s Eve. I called this company the next morning and Andrew, one of the owners, drove back five hours from Iowa and was determining the problem by early afternoon. Very happy with his knowledge of heating and air conditioning and commitment to service.
Very thorough A/C maintenance on both our units. Informed me on what he was doing and what you expect. Also explained to me some additional information on our new system installed back in 2024.
